Candidates for a cochlear implant are determined over a series of appointments with our cochlear implant audiologists and surgeon. Our team of specialty-trained audiologists, speech pathologists and a fellowship-trained neurotologist are here to help guide you through the evaluation and assessment process.

Voice & Swallowing Disorders Center

We specialize in the evaluation and management of voice, swallowing and airway disorders. These include services for patients with professional voice demands, voice misuse and abuse, recurrent laryngitis, aging voices, cancer of the larynx and more.

Our team will evaluate and provide diagnoses and treatment for a wide range of voice, swallowing and airway disorders, including:

During your first visit, we’ll take a detailed history and review any of your previous testing. The physician will examine your head and neck, followed by one or more diagnostic procedures to evaluate your throat depending on your presenting signs and symptoms.

Please bring any outside records related to your condition, including radiographic studies like CT, MBS, etc. Also, please bring a complete medication list or the medications themselves.
