Dianne Chilgren
Dianne Chilgren is a concert pianist. She started developing problems with balance and weakness in her legs about 20 years ago. She thought she might have multiple sclerosis. When the symptoms got so bad she was falling and didn’t want to go out of the house, she saw a neurologist at Swedish. The doctor reassured her that she didn’t have multiple sclerosis and referred her to the Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus program.

Tom Davis
Tom Davis is retired from U S West Communications. About five years ago he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Tom took medication for Parkinson’s for four years. When the medicine didn’t seem to work, his wife suggested he see a Swedish neurologist. The doctor referred Tom to the Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus program for additional testing.
