man at espresso makerWhen arriving at any Swedish Campus location, please proceed to the location of your assignment during regular hours. For after hours, you will need to enter through a designated After Hours Entrance, such as an  Emergency Department, which is open 24 hours. If you need directions, please proceed to an information desk or registration counter for assistance. If you cannot locate the patient or the location of your assignment, call the main number at any campus, be asked to be transferred to the clinic or in-patient department location, and speak to the SMC staff. Or you may check in with registration, give the patient’s name and information, and check for the location of the appointment to confirm.

Between assignments, please wait in the main lobby or any dining room locations at each campus. Please do not eat or drink in any areas except those below. Do not sleep at any Swedish locations or use any staff break rooms. The locations and times for SMC public cafeterias are below:

Please do not wait in family waiting areas if space is limited and do not make confidential phone calls in public locations. Please do not use computers, copier machines, fax machines and other SMC equipment intended for patients and staff. Public phones are available in most lobby areas.  Please note that patients have priority to the Swedish Courtesy phones; please restrict use of these phones for emergency use only.  TTY/TDD, CapTel, Braille and Amplified phones are available upon request.  Please ask staff at information desks or in patient registration areas if you need this equipment.
