nurseIn 1910, Dr. Nils Johanson saw the need for a first class, nonprofit hospital. He convinced ten fellow Swedish immigrants to buy $1,000 bonds and established a 24 bed hospital.

Today, more than a hundred years later, Swedish Health Services, a not-for-profit organization includes five hospitals, two ambulatory centers and Swedish Medical Group with more than 100 primary and specialty clinics.
