Needed help and did not get it. Doubt provider cared tho he was good at explaining my condition

I love Dr Yu. He makes me feel like I'm the only patient he has in the world. Very thoughtful and thorough. Never rushed. Kind! Pays attention to what I saying. I love this Dr and would follow him thru hell. I wish more Drs were like him.

Dr. Yu is very good, and I trust his professionalism.

Like always he talks to me like he care's he has awesome bed side matnior I like him an his assistant. They're the best.

He listened to my concerns, and took the time to look back at old imaging to see what was going on. He explained possible procedure options, but didn't push me. He was respectful and believed my pain. I felt seen and heard.

Dr Yu has been my chronic pain doctor for over 10 years now and I feel that he's one of the best doctors I've seen since my initial injury back in 1999. I have recommended him to others I've known

I was worked into Dr. Yu's existing schedule for this appointment. (I don't always remember to schedule my appointments right away. The staff graciously worked me in. As usual, Dr. Yu was able to get me in earlier than my appointment time due to a cancellation. The staff is so kind and understanding, and I deeply appreciate them. Dr. Yu listens to everything I say and answers all my questions (even if I don't always like the answer.) I trust no other doctor the way I trust Dr. Yu. He has the latest information, is able to answer any curveball question I may ask (sometimes I hear about possible treatments that I wonder if they could work for me), and I am 110% confident that he knows exactly what he's talking about. Dr. Yu always asks how things are ( and even asks how family members who have come to my appointments in the past our doing.) I lost my mother and Dr. Yu said kind things about her and was genuinely sorry to hear about her passing. I know if Dr. Yu mentions new treatment options, he's done his research and I trust him. Dr. Yu gives me his full attention, and asks more than once each appointment if I have any further questions or need anything else. I travel a bit of distance to see Dr. Yu, and I won't consider seeing another doctor closer to me.

I was very happy with the care I received at the pain clinic. Dr. Yu was very thoughtful and generous with his time.

I have never had a bad experience at any of the swedish facilities.

Showed me my neck MRI and explained the biggest problems. Went over a treatment plan. Came away feeling more knowledgeable about my biggest neck Issues.

The nurses that helped with my visits were and are always amazing! I wish I knew their names so I could give them the credit they deserve!!

Dr. Yu was very kind and excellent at her job. She and her nurses were very helpful to me with my issues of with vertigo. It was appreciated.

Always professional and kind

Dr Yu suggested that the MILD procedure was not appropriate to address my lumbar stenosis. He Indicated endoscopic surgery is My best option and the UW Pain Center has qualified doctors. He referred me to them.

Very knowledgeable, kind and understanding. It was a first appointment And he listened to the problems I have with my back to pursue a course of action.

Dr. Yu is extremely good at what he does. I have recommended him to several other people and I trust him very much.

No personality, he did not care about my health issues. He was rude and spent maybe 5 min. With me.

Not a good appointment

I was able to get an answer because I happened to call when someone had just cancelled. The doctor came up with a diagnosis within minutes. He's every knowable and talks to me in a respectful way which I can understand his findings. I think he's just wonderful!

I have neuropathy Nerf pain on my side from repeated shingles. At my last appointment Dr. Yu and I came through the decision to do a nerve block and had to send the info into my insurance company for approval. This past week has been extremely painful, debilitatingly so. I called Swedish and they have been enough to get me into a doctor's appointment to get this done the first of next week. I feel like they really do care and have the patience interest right where it belongs in first place

Provider called 2 hours after visit with updated information & instructions. This was not expected. Provider had further looked into my situation. Impressive

Very unpleasant. It seemed to me that the Doctor didn't like some of my answers to his questions. Although I answered them honestly????

Post procedure, on going.Great so far, with some difficulties getting the Stimulator Implant dialed in.Healing fine, working with manufacturer's representative.

The doctor did not seem to have any empathy or care about my situation

This provider did not want to see me. He clearly did not want to listen to my issue or address my concerns. He was condescending and made ridiculous comments about my condition (saying that pkd mostly effects men and doubting my concerns with it) he did not offer any solutions and while he said he would preform the previous procedure I had with a different dr he clearly did not want to and I wouldn't let him inject meds into my back with the terrible attitude he had. I was offended and will not see him again and will make sure that my dr who referred me does not refer the practice again

Having had prior back injections ans some acute issues afterwards. This team has done the best job reducing the amount of acute discomfort compared to all other previous groups for similiar procedures. Thanks for getting me in even with it being christmas eve, happy holidays.

A patient should never hear their provider-especially a pain specialist-say "your pain isn't that bad." Dr. Yu was disrespectful and condescending and failed to listen to my concerns. I was made to feel as If I was not worthy of his time. This was my first and last appointment with him. I hat at a disappointment.

Dr. Yu is the best. He has my pain dr on and off since 2006. His knowledge has just gotten better along with experience.

I called after going to a pain doctor who seemed to have no empathy and cut me off as I answered his questions. The staff says it is a regular complaint internally and externally. I called after my appointment to report to whomever what an unprofessional manner my doc had. Please call !

All was good except for lengthy wait time from first appointment to final procedure.

Dr. Yu is the worse doctor I've ever been to. He was inconsiderate, condesending, did not listen, and was downright rude. One would think that since he was with the pain clinic, that he would have a little empathy for his patients and would listen to them. I would NEVER go back to him for anything!
