I was able to get an answer because I happened to call when someone had just cancelled. The doctor came up with a diagnosis within minutes. He's every knowable and talks to me in a respectful way which I can understand his findings. I think he's just wonderful!

I have neuropathy Nerf pain on my side from repeated shingles. At my last appointment Dr. Yu and I came through the decision to do a nerve block and had to send the info into my insurance company for approval. This past week has been extremely painful, debilitatingly so. I called Swedish and they have been enough to get me into a doctor's appointment to get this done the first of next week. I feel like they really do care and have the patience interest right where it belongs in first place

Provider called 2 hours after visit with updated information & instructions. This was not expected. Provider had further looked into my situation. Impressive

Very unpleasant. It seemed to me that the Doctor didn't like some of my answers to his questions. Although I answered them honestly????

Post procedure, on going.Great so far, with some difficulties getting the Stimulator Implant dialed in.Healing fine, working with manufacturer's representative.

The doctor did not seem to have any empathy or care about my situation

This provider did not want to see me. He clearly did not want to listen to my issue or address my concerns. He was condescending and made ridiculous comments about my condition (saying that pkd mostly effects men and doubting my concerns with it) he did not offer any solutions and while he said he would preform the previous procedure I had with a different dr he clearly did not want to and I wouldn't let him inject meds into my back with the terrible attitude he had. I was offended and will not see him again and will make sure that my dr who referred me does not refer the practice again

Having had prior back injections ans some acute issues afterwards. This team has done the best job reducing the amount of acute discomfort compared to all other previous groups for similiar procedures. Thanks for getting me in even with it being christmas eve, happy holidays.

A patient should never hear their provider-especially a pain specialist-say "your pain isn't that bad." Dr. Yu was disrespectful and condescending and failed to listen to my concerns. I was made to feel as If I was not worthy of his time. This was my first and last appointment with him. I hat at a disappointment.

Dr. Yu is the best. He has my pain dr on and off since 2006. His knowledge has just gotten better along with experience.

Dr. Yu is the worse doctor I've ever been to. He was inconsiderate, condesending, did not listen, and was downright rude. One would think that since he was with the pain clinic, that he would have a little empathy for his patients and would listen to them. I would NEVER go back to him for anything!

All of my visits have been very good and I will definitely recommend this team!

The provider I saw was rude upon entering the exam room. He said the only thing I have done for you is a replacement of my spinal cord stimulator because original provider was unable. He didn't know why I was referred to him. He ordered xrays and ct scan I believe yo determine if I needed back surgery but didn't listen to me that I can't have back surgery now.

Scheduling was a bit tricky because Dr. Yu is covering for another provider and so I called expecting to get seen in 3 months. However, I wasn't able to be seen for over 4 months because of that additional patient load. Dr. Yu is an amazing provider. I know his information in my condition is current, and he is always knowledgeable about upcoming devices or medication that could be used to treat my condition. I have absolute trust in Dr. Yu. He is always a professional and he is THE gold standard in medical care. My records are always up to date, I am told in advance if Dr. Yu will be out for any extended period of time so I can schedule accordingly. Dr. Yu always lets me know if another physician will be covering my case while he is out. My family loves Dr. Yu, and he has always treated them with respect if they accompany me to an appointment. Dr. Yu is the GOAT and I hope Swedish treats him well because he is the best doctor. Period. The receptionist staff are amazing. Most know my name, they never hesitate to provide assistance, and they are incredibly kind and hardworking. I also appreciate the medical assistants who start off the appointment. Most are truly wonderful, caring individuals.

Dr Yu stepped in when my Dr had to go to surgery and there was an emergency with my morphine implant. Once he was able to help me it was great. Communication about how long it would take to him to be able to help was hard. My service dog was in the car and they guesstimated an hour to do the rotator study. I waited more than 2 hours before he even came. I'm extremely grateful, just a heads up so I could make alternate arrangements would have been helpful.

Dr Yu is an excellent doctor. He uses a variety of techniques to treat my pain. I've only had good experiences.

Dr Yu took extra time with me to investigate and explain my condition and related symptoms. He also took time to look at a problem with my back and leg, which may be caused by the sacroiliac joint on my right side. He explained a lot about my conditions and helped mo to understand them much better.

Dr. Yu is a genius at this procedure. His staff take a personal interest, are kind, approachable, solicitous and professional. The reception staff are also every bit as kind and professional. They take excellent care of me, and want to help with any of my needs. I love the stuffing out of them.

I trust Dr. Yu completely because it's obvious that he keeps up with current medical practices that are best for each patient.
