Childbirth and Parenting Classes
Preparing for a new baby is an exciting time, but many families have questions. Our team of childbirth educators and certified professionals can help! We offer in-person and online classes designed to prepare you, your partner, and family members for the arrival of your baby.
You can register for classes individually online or by phone, or you may purchase a class package bundle. Medicaid/ProviderOne is accepted as payment for many classes. Interpreters are also available upon request. For more information or assistance, please call our class registration line at 206-386-2502.
When Should You Take Classes?
Register for your classes early and plan to complete them four to six weeks before your due date. We recommend that first-time parents complete at least one class in Childbirth Preparation, Newborn Care, Breastfeeding and Infant Safety and CPR. Although you can take your classes in any order that works for you and your schedule, we recommend this timeline.
