The Swedish Neuroscience Institute

The Swedish Neuroscience Institute began in response to a growing need for comprehensive neuroscience services in the Pacific Northwest. Since created, we've become a premier institute, offering an extraordinary combination of world-class medical expertise, advanced technologies, state-of-the-art facilities and leading-edge clinical research. We remain focused on one goal: to provide the best care for patients with brain, spine and central nervous system disorders.

Through several TeleHealth programs, including TeleICU, TeleEEG and Telestroke, Swedish uses computer telemedicine technology to link Swedish Neuroscience Institute expertise to clinics, hospitals and emergency departments in numerous Washington communities.

Through clinical trials, our staff evaluates new drugs and medical devices, and is able to provide patients therapeutic options that would otherwise be unavailable to them.

We're also is helping educate the next generation of neurosurgery subspecialists by offering advanced training in multiple fellowships, such as epilepsy and skull-base surgery.
