About Ashley E. Hamel
Dr. Hamel loves caring for children of all ages and is amazed by the unique physical, social and emotional development of infants, children and young adults. She believes in building long-term relationships with patients and families and working together to make healthy decisions to promote wellness. She has particular interests in adolescent health, LGBTQIA + health and health equity. Her interest in the overlap between social justice and medicine has motivated her to take an active role in advocacy work and community health projects.

When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Hamel enjoys spending time with her partner on hiking and kayaking adventures, cooking new dishes, playing ukulele, listening to live music, gardening and soccer. We also love supporing Seattle women's sports. Go Storm and OL Reign!
