Very good experience from this visit

I would have liked Dr Ibrahim to have been less impersonal during my in follow up appointment. That said, to his credit, when I have sent a message in MyChart, he himself has responded rather than an MA or nurse. His responses are clear, thoughtful and concise without ambiguity, which is unusual for specialists-in my experience.

Dr. Ibrahim was clear and straightforward in his assessment and explanations of treatment. He answered questions well. He was efficient.

From pre op, written instructions, procedure and follow up care, this has been an excellent experience. There's one area that needs a little more information in discharge instructions. I was not clear about compression and elevation after the 2 week check in. Compression stockings are listed as an option with out noting weight needed.

Dr. Ibrahim was excellent. He had a very down-to-business approach. He was not quite as warm as the other surgeon I consulted, but he was approachable and professional. I had intended to go with the other surgeon before coming in, but within 5 minutes of speaking with Dr. Ibrahim, I knew that I wanted him to do my total hip replacement.

His staff was also great to work with. I had imaging done in office and his PA was very kind as well. I'm almost excited to get my knees replaced.

Finally getting to see an orthopedic doctor to start the process of knee replacement was an important appointment and I got lots of good information.

The follow-up went very smoothly. I have nothing bad to say.

The first questions asked if I called in. We used the patient portal which was excellent. Response was excellent as well.

I saw Dr. Ibrahim after seeing another Orthopedic Surgeon outside of Swedish Medical Center to determine his assessment of my knee condition for a knee replacement. Dr. Ibrahim listened to my concerns and explained the findings of my MRI (the previous doctor said that he didn't need information from an MRI). After my appointment with Dr. Ibrahim I knew that I wanted him to replace my knee.

Dr Ibrahim is great! He's my surgeon and me and my hip never felt better!!!
