It took 6-7 months to get into this appt. I would call periodically to see if there were cancellations. We were finally moved up two weeks. Our experience once we got to the appt was wonderful. The entire staff and medical care team were positive and professional. They explained everything and made us feel hopeful.

It took a long time to get an appointment but then all the specialists are backed up so nobody's fault really just frustrating I was on a list and they did call me so I had an appointment a month earlier than the original one. The appointment itself met all my expectations

Dr Emma Dotson was an excellent care provider.

Patient's experience overall was acceptable. Receptionist retrieved patient's ID card and 2 insurance cards on check-in and ensured billing files were current. Waiting area was adequate, well ventilated. Chairs were typical hospital style configurations. Patient and caregiver both appreciate intensely obtaining a copy of forms ahead of appointment and NOT having to deal with restrictive on-line questionnaire. Patient's concerns/complaints were acceptably addressed. Provider researched patient's current diagnoses and history issues and sought detailed explanation(s). Provider completed her consultation/progress notes in timely manner. Patient did not experience privacy nor have any sensitivity needs issues. Care team appeared to work together handsomely. Patient would recommend this facility to others only if they are part of SMG system. Suggested 6-month followup accepted and scheduled.
