My joy in practice comes from the relationships developed over time with my patients. I believe in evidence based, high quality care that meets the needs and goals of each individual. While I have extra training in geriatrics (care of the older adult), I provide primary care for people of all ages and really enjoy taking care of multiple people in the same family. She is understanding, listens and makes me feel like she cares about my well-being, and also is well versed in up to date scientific standards and practices so I know I'm getting the best care. She never makes me feel disrespected for anything based on bodyweight, and works with me on diet and exercise that is focused on sustainable health promotion independent of weight. She also asks for my input on what I feel is the best medical plan for me after telling me about all the possible options and plans.
