About Lauren H. Lawler
I am a lifelong Seattleite and proud Providence Swedish Cherry Hill Residency alum from the class of 2018. I graduated from the UW School of Medicine and earned my MPH through the UW School of Public Health as a concurrent degree. I approach primary care with deep interests in health systems design and population health. After graduating from residency I spent nearly seven years working in two local FQHCs where I practiced full spectrum family medicine and spent a time in medical leadership. I am committed to whole person care and see my most important roles as a family doctor as a partner for patients and families in reducing barriers to living their fullest lives and as a bridge across fragmentation in our health care system. I have a passion for geriatrics and complex chronic disease management, inpatient medicine, prenatal care, developmental pediatrics, outpatient procedures, immigrant and refugee health, addiction medicine, and studying/practicing health care leadership as a means to improve patient care quality and workplace wellbeing for health care providers and staff. I aspire every day to improve as an ally and advocate and see this work as a cornerstone of addressing the inequity and social determinants of health at the root of illness.

I stay busy outside of work bouncing between adventures and activities with my three kiddos and husband. I recharge with time at the gym, long walks in West Seattle where I live, a good book, cooking and baking projects, wheel throwing pottery, celebrating every holiday with gusto, and getting my hands dirty in the garden.
