Extremely happy with the care I received at Swedish. The only thing that needs improvement is the location of the actual surgery center! It was extremely outdated, crowded and even depressing - not what you want when you go in for surgery. And to clarify, the staff and doctors are amazing, the deserve better.

Dr. Lazarus provides exceptional care. She listens, ensures that you have the information you need, and follows through.

Dr. Lazarus does exceptionally well connecting. She provides the information I need and options for treatment for a difficult diagnosis and effectively sets up a surgical plan that considers the whole person. Dr. Lazarus promptly and efficiently answers concerns, schedules treatment, and referrals so that stress is reduced.

Everyone in Dr. Lazarus's office has been great. Her scheduler is extremely on the ball, the nurse I spoke with gave me clear and well-organized information, and Dr. Lazarus herself has called me with test results several times at the very end of her work day, when I'm sure it would have been easier to just go home and call me the next day. I really appreciate the excellent care I've received.

The seamless way Dr. Lazarus's team coordinated was impressive. I walked in with a concern after seeing another doctor in the building, expecting to set up an appointment or a time to talk to a nurse. Instead the staff handled everything right away and communicated with Dr. Lazarus who fit me in for a quick appointment on no notice, and made a diagnosis and follow up plan that resolved all of my concerns. Everyone was kind, professional and incredibly efficient!

Excellent surgery and care

Dr. Lazarus has provided exceptional care as I've been dealing with a cancer diagnosis requiring extensive testing, consultations and care coordination. She has gone above and beyond to communicate results quickly and thoroughly, and to review all of my treatment options. Her team has been incredible about getting me in for both routine and urgent/same day appointments. I really appreciated their willingness to process an external referral I requested and to coordinate that care seamlessly.

I met with Dr. Lazarus for a second opinion, and from the very beginning she explained my diagnosis and next steps in clear, detailed, and compassionate terms. By the time she asked if I had any questions, I realized she had already answered every single one just by thoroughly explaining everything. I knew in that moment that she was the surgeon I wanted and trusted.

Dr Lazarus listens and speaks with intent, provides thorough answers and comfort, doesn't rush, and leaves me with a sense of peace, understanding, and hope. She is an absolute blessing and I never doubt I am in the best hands.

She was very respectful of my concerns and answered my questions.Needs to follow up with another test.

I think she is very knowledgeable, but could be a little more personable or warmer. One the day of the surgery, she barely acknowledged me when checking in. It takes less than 30 seconds to exchange a pleasantry.
