Swedish celebrates all caregivers
During Caregiver Appreciation Week, taking place June 4-10, Swedish is proud to honor the people behind the extraordinary care we provide our community. The dedication and passion of our teams saved baby Evangeline, saw Don through a liver transplant and helped Kami survive brain cancer.
Our nurses, therapists, physicians, technicians, food service workers, volunteers and so many others go above and beyond each day, to provide care during what are often the most vulnerable times for our patients and their loved ones. It takes the daily contributions of each one of our caregivers for Swedish to live out its mission to improve the health and well-being of every person we serve.
I invite you to hear the stories of Evangeline, Don, Kami and many other patients at newday.swedish.org. As a Swedish physician, I know firsthand the deep level of compassion, commitment and teamwork from the people here at Swedish who cared for them.
If you’re visiting Swedish during Caregiver Appreciation Week, we hope you’ll help us extend the appreciation to our team members. Thank you for entrusting your care to us, and happy Caregiver Appreciation Week to the people who make Swedish an extraordinary place to work and receive care.
