Caregiver Resource Group
At Swedish, Caregiver Resource Groups (CRGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups designed to create a more inclusive workplace focused on business networking and enhancing career development. CRGs are groups of employees who come together based on shared characteristics or life experiences.
The Swedish LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Plus) CRG aims to support Swedish’s goal to create a diverse workforce reflecting the communities we serve and a caregiver experience where all caregivers are included, developed and inspired to carry on the Mission, with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ caregiver and community. The LGBTQIA+ CRG acknowledges that femmes, women, women of color, gender diverse and transgender caregivers are more likely to experience barriers in the workplace and we will work to ensure a safe space, representation and leadership opportunities for femmes, women, women of color, gender diverse and transgender caregivers.
