Cancer Genetic Counseling and Testing
Nancy Hanson, M.S., Clinic Supervisor
Nancy Hanson has been a genetic counselor for many years and joined Swedish in 2014. She received her masters degree in medical genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a Cancer Genetics Intensive at City of Hope. She is certified in genetic counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is a Certified Genetic Counselor.
Kristine Rinn, M.D.
A medical oncologist at the Swedish Cancer Institute since 2001, Dr. Rinn specializes in breast cancer, including breast-cancer risk and prevention. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington and is board certified in oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Rinn has held fellowships at the University of Washington and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
