About Shauna A. Dentler
I was born and raised in Washington State, originally from just outside of Olympia, WA. I completed my undergraduate, medical, and residency training all at the University of Washington in Seattle. My professional interests include high and low risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, contraception, cervical cancer screening and risk-reduction, and family planning. When I am not at work you will find me with my husband and my dog. I find joy in coffee, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

I love Dr. Dentler she did not diminish my symptoms at all and in fact when I was diminishing them she assured me that my discomfort is not something I should have to go through. When I expressed a desire to get non essential healthcare she heard me and I'm getting the health care I want. She also took into consideration my long term family planning goals and the timeline I actually WANTED instead of the timeline that makes the most sense medically. I really appreciate her and wish I could invite her to my Christmas parties :)

This 2nd checkup with Dr. Dentler occurred about 17 months after my 1st checkup. As before, I experienced Dr. Dentler as a warm, approachable, quickly astute and knowledgeable Ob-gyn. She understood my concerns and provided alternative followup treatment strategies. I greatly appreciate her!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Denter. It's my first pregnancy and she has been providing me the best care possible from the beginning. I always get prompt reply to all my concerns in myChart and Dr Denter never rushes in the appointments and takes time to go through our questions and concerns. She always makes me feel at ease. I would highly recommend her and blessed to have her as my obgyn.
