Cherry Hill receives comprehensive stroke center certification
This certification reflects the highest level of treatment for serious stroke events.
SEATTLE, Nov. 15, 2024 – Providence Swedish Cherry Hill has received certification from accreditation service Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, reflecting the highest level of competence for treatment of serious stroke events.
This certification is based on standards set forth by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, affirming that Cherry Hill addresses the full spectrum of stroke care – diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education – and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes.
Cherry Hill was initially certified in 2015 by DNV as a comprehensive stroke center. Each certification is effective for three years.
“Achieving certification shows commitment to excellence,” says Kelly Proctor, President of DNV Healthcare USA Inc. “And it helps demonstrate to your community that you are performing at the highest level.”
As a comprehensive stroke center, Cherry Hill campus is a best-equipped treatment center for any kind of stroke or stroke complication.
Congratulations to our stroke care teams at Cherry Hill for their unwavering commitment to excellence.
