Excellent care pre and postoperative. He takes time to talk to you about the procedure and what to expect postoperative.

Dr. Louie is an amazing surgeon. My Zenker's diverticulum is a fairly rare condition. He explained the surgery thoroughly before. After the surgery he fully explained what I would experience. Recovery was easier and quicker than I had expected. The surgery has totally improved by daily life. I would totally recommend Dr. Louie for this surgery. I am glad for all the planned check in visits which this was the 3 month check in.

His demeanor grows on you overtime. He's a very good surgeon which is more important, but makes a person feel more like a number and not a human, which is where medical is going now.

While waiting for the video meeting, my laptop broke. I switched to a minimac with the monitor w/o video camera. I can see him and hear him but he could not see me. He was kind enough to call me by phone so we could video conference. I appreciate his patience and his judgement.

Dr Louie performed a thymectomy on me 9 years ago. He suggested radiation treatment afterwards to be certain the cancer was gone and I have been coming back for CT scans as suggested to make sure the tumor didn't come back. Thankfully it didn't. He told me about a study that tracked MG patients who did and didn't have radiation and I am so thankful that I followed all of his recommendations. Over the years he always took time to answer my questions and provide me with information on how to live the best life I could as a person with MG. I have complete trust in the care that I received from Dr Louie and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Louie is an exceptional communicator. I appreciate his willingness to monitor my progress remotely since providing me with a much needed surgery in 2023.

Sometimes hesitant to ask a question wondering if the doctor will take it as questioning their expertise/ability and get snippy. This is not good, as this is a chance to ask everything.

This is not my PCP, this is for a special, ongoing issue I have. Some of these questions don't apply to this. The whole staff is awesome, I feel totally at ease with the care I get from Dr. Louie and his team. He's the first doctor in a long time to really listen to me.

I love Dr Louie. I literally trust him with my life. I have great respect and faith that he knows exactly what he is doing.
