Ten years ago I had a fundoplication surgery performed at a different hospital. Within 6 months it was apparent that the procedure failed. I asked if the doctor would repeat the surgery. The answer was "no". It was unlikely a second surgery would be successful. Dr. Louie reviewed the notes from this surgery and said a second fundoplication surgery would be appropriate. I'm one year post op and I have no acid reflux symptoms. I have a lot of confidence In his skill. I appreciate that he's straightforward and not boastful.

I have high respect for Dr LOUIE and am confident I am getting the best care. My ONLY issue is with how busy he is and how long it takes to get services provided. My issue has been going on for more than a year and a half, and although I know it's relatively minor compared to others, I am still suffering while I wait for surgery to be scheduled.
