About Craig J. Pastor
Craig Pastor, MD is a plastic surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and fellowship-trained hand surgeon who joined the Eviva team in 2014. His interests include complex hand and wrist conditions, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis of the hand and wrist, Dupuytren’s disease, and general and traumatic plastic surgery conditions.
Dr. Pastor grew up in central Illinois where he graduated valedictorian of his high school class. His interest in science led him to enroll in the premedical curriculum at the University of Illinois. Studying biology, he went on to graduate summa cum laude in 2004 and was named a Bronze Tablet recipient for finishing in the top 3% of his class. Dr. Pastor obtained his medical education at the University of Illinois in Chicago. In 2008 he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Following his medical school education, Dr. Pastor completed a five-year comprehensive residency in plastic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While in residency, he took a special interest in conditions of the hand and upper extremity. He went on to complete an orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at Stony Brook University in New York. In his free time, Dr. Pastor enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking.
