Gabrielle H. Wirick, PT, DPT

I am a Pediatric Physical Therapist dedicated to supporting children in their growth and development as they reach their motor milestones! I began my career in Indiana and after working for a year as a pediatric PT, I traveled more of the country and felt the pull to explore physical therapy beyond my home state. This led me to embrace the exciting role of a traveling physical therapist for three years, which provided me with invaluable experience--working in various regions and engaging with diverse communities. In 2024, I accepted a contract in the Seattle area, and I fell in love with all the Pacific Northwest had to offer! I am delighted to now be a part of the pediatric rehab team here at Swedish First Hill, especially regarding our NICU follow up program! My clinical expertise includes assessing gross motor skills, postural alignment, gait abnormalities, and strength deficits, as well as conducting developmental milestone testing. I work with children from early infancy through adolescence, emphasizing the goals of each child and their families to foster independence and development. I advocate for a supportive environment, utilizing both therapist-directed and child-led therapy sessions to achieve physical therapy objectives.
