About Christine L. Barron
Christine Barron, MD is a General Otolaryngologist at Pacific Medical Group. Dr. Barron earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her medical degree at The Ohio State University School of Medicine. Dr. Barron completed her residency in Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she was recognized with the Chairman's Award as the top graduate from her program. Prior to joining PacMed, she was an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Indiana University in Indianapolis. She has published over a dozen publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has presented work at national meetings including the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Barron chose her specialty because it allows her to care for surgical problems in an intricate anatomical region that significantly impact patients’ quality of life. Dr. Barron believes it is important to treat every person as she would a member of her own family – with empathy, respect, and the highest standard of care.
Her clinical practice encompasses the breadth of General Otolaryngology, and she treats all patients with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) disorders. She is especially interested in surgical issues related to nasal airway obstruction, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyposis, obstructive sleep apnea, thyroid and parathyroid disease, and salivary gland disease. Dr. Barron sees patients at PacMed's First Hill, Northgate, and Canyon Park locations, and performs surgery at Swedish First Hill.
