Dr Chapman is the best!

The team was careful to answer all questions, as well as give me a sense of comfort and confidence in my care.

Nothing bad! Dr. Chapman was direct and very forthcoming with my back issues and the pros and cons about a possible surgery. VERY firm handshake!

During my initial visit and consultation, the doctor showed genuine empathy, as if the situation were their own; they provided a detailed explanation of the guidelines I needed to follow and outlined the necessary procedures for my next visit.

While sharing the results of my recent Xrays, Dr. Chapman was very encouraging to me. The news was as not good or easy to accept. Yet, Dr. Chapman helped me understand the issues, includington the risks. I am encouraged to continue getting stronger.

We wants thank Dr. Chapman for his excellent personally and bedside manner, he was able to slowly and clearly explain my symptoms and provide realistic options and recovery times. We appreciate his medical expertise.

I was pleased that Dr Chapman talked "to" me, and not "at" me. I also appreciate that he didn't talk smack about my other providers.

Well, I believe Dr. Chapman is an excellent physician, he speaks very quickly, and he was a half an hour behind schedule, so things moved at a very rapid pace, and I felt like I was rushed

Very informative and good advise

This survey really doesn't fit me very well since I am not a Swedish Member. I belong to Kaiser and was referred to Dr. Chapman. I consider myself very lucky to have him. Sounds sort of "Corny", but he just exudes knowledge and confidence. His advice about foot ware has made a big difference for me In how well I can balance myself. Anyways, count me In as an admirer.

Dr. Chapman is amazing: brilliant, skilled and compassionate. At the first visit he diagnosed what other providers had missed and the complicated surgery he ultimately performed has been a success. I now look forward to a future of good health and physical activity. I can once again do the things I love. This is no small gift. Throughout it all, Dr Chapman treated me with respect and an equal partner in decision making. I am so grateful for his care.

From the moment we walked in we had a great experience, no delays and I was extremely impressed!!

Dr. Chapman and his staff were prepared for my visit by reviewing my tests and reviewing my history. They were all professional, kind and explained my test results and the treatment options. Dr. Chapman was running late in surgery and the staff kept us up to date and offered water while we waited. I would highly recommend Dr. Chapman and his staff to my family and friends!

Every thing was great excellent experience

This was a 6-month follow up to my surgery. Dr Chapman had all my imaging results and we had a very productive conversation.

Before I saw Dr Chapman I saw another provider. He was difficult to understand. I was able to get things cleared up with Dr Chapman.

Dr. Chapman was excellent. I would definitely seek his care again should I need neurosurgical procedure. His entire staff treated me with respect and were very courteous.

Dr. Chapman has been quite impressive throughout my lower spine repair. I don't hesitate referring him and his practice to anyone I know who's experiencing spinal pain!

Finally a surgeon that listens to their patients. Dr. Chapman is caring and professional and easy to speak with.

I had a terrible experience with that doctor. He was a half hour late for the appointment, didn't listen to a single thing I said or show any concerns for my pain or conditions, rushed the appointment and ended it before I got a chance to ask my questions and voice my concerns, and downplayed my diagnoses. The appointment ended with more questions than answers and I left feeling like the doctor just wanted to get the appointment done and over with so he could get on with his day.

It is all good.

X-rays took longer than expected so our appointment was shifted 30 min later so MD could see another patient in a timely way. This was explained and ok with us. We are very impressed with Dr Chapman and his team and with SNI and Swedish.

The extent to which Dr. Chapman had in preparation for my appointment was good. I felt he had a thorough knowledge of my medical condition and addressed it a comprehensive manor by referring me to the damaged Spinal Cord Clinic. I had consulted with 6 other MD, and they appeared to have inadequate knowledge of my neurological issues/problem(s).

There is no one I would rather see for my spine and have surgeries with

Dr Chapman was excellent in every way. It was the first time I had seen him. Three prior doctors told me that my symptoms were "confusing" and they had no good plan to investigate further or to help relieve my discomfort. Dr Chapman listened to my symptoms, performed a detailed exam and reviewed the prior imaging studies. He zeroed in on a diagnosis that made perfect sense. (It Is what I had suspected all along.) He ordered a specialized imaging study to clarify things. He then took the time to explain a home exercise regimen and referred me to physical therapy. I wish I had seen him earlier as it has been a long road with the other providers. I have great confidence in Dr Chapman going forward. His intelligence and careful consideration of every detail makes him one in a million.

Dr. Chapman explained very clearly to me that my spinal stenosis is related to fat deposits in my spine. By losing weight I could eliminate the fat deposits and thereby rid myself of the problem. He was very persuasive. I am in day eight of my weight loss program feeling a bit better already. I remain hopeful and positive about changing my lifestyle due to the way he convinced me that it's my responsibility. I'm grateful to him for that. He was not at all preachy in his delivery. My experience has been excellent so far.

I am forever greatful that I was referred to Dr. Jens Chapman who did the complicated surgery on my back.I have my life back.

Dr. Chapman appears very well versed and exceptional in his knowledge in his field. However, his soft skills are rough and made me feel very rushed and anxious. I absolutely understand being direct, but sometimes some health concerns aren't clear black and white as mine is very grey with changes over time with symptoms. He seemed to want yes or no answers but with my condition, that isn't the case, unfortunately. Otherwise, I definitely respect his experience and knowledge.

My 3mo. Visit was very helpful. I not only learned that my surgical implant of Coflex was in correct position but that it was Operating correctly. I was also given instructions and advice to keep my back in good shape for future. Also ideas for improving balance so as to avoid falls!

My last visit was fantastic !!!

Dr. Chapman's team specifically is the best! But the protocol that seems to have now been put into place is not good at all. This is not Dr. Chapman's fault, once I finally was able to get to him (after a year of pain and suffering) everything, as always, was great! He is the best!

Dr Chapman is articulate and very knowledgeable. I would trust him in both his diagnosis and abilities. Surgery on one's back is long and delicate.
