She seems very knowledgeable. She does not explain the tests I have, nor what they mean. She seems rushed. On one occasion, I asked questions and wanted a more detailed explanation; she replied: "You haven't been paying attention to me!" I felt disrespected. I am looking for a new optometrist, but am afraid to leave the practice, because all my records are with her. I will ask my primary care doctor for a recommendation.

She was respectful. She did a nice job explaining what had occurred in previous visits and that she was still following this. But that it had also occurred with some of her other patients. A test that showed concern but clinically she could not see It. The following visit It was not present. So she is keeping an eye on it.

I had a non urgent but important question about the safety of an over-the-counter eye cosmetic. I sent the question through My Chart Messaging. Not only did Dr. Farea respond to me in a helpful and timely way, but she reassured me at this appointment that she had consulted with a specialist to do so. Dr Farea and her assistant were both very proactive. I came in for a routine exam and fluid was found in my retina. Dr Farea wanted to make sure that I was seen by a Retina Dr ASAP and explained to me what she saw and why it was so important. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone!

Dr Farea always seems rushed & while she will answer questions she seems bothered being asked. She does a good job including details in the wrtitten report but doesn't go over any of this during visit so I end up google searching for details.Bottom line Dr Farea could definitely improve her doctor -> patient communication skills.

I had a very good experience with her medical assistant. During my vision exam she noticed that my polarized glasses were not sitting on my nose properly and this was affecting my how well I was seeing the eye chart. She then adjusted my glasses and this gave me proper results. Doctor Farea was great. She listened attentively to my concerns and referred me to an eye surgeon for further treatment.
