Very professional team, our experience was amazing.

This was our first appointment with this provider-he was thoughtful, knowledgeable and appropriately concerned about my daughter's specific medical challenges as well as how that impacts the rest of her life. He listened to our concerns and had reviewed her info before our appointment and came with some thoughts and concerns of his own very kind to both my daughter and I.

Dr. Doherty checks all that pertains to neuro, seizures, and then he asks about other health items. He makes sure the patient is followed by all necessary specislists snd checking with the primary care doc also. He confirms medication dises snd thinks outside the box for any lifestyle triggers for seizures or anxiety. He is thorough and cares for his patients.

We have appreciated Dr. Doherty's expertise for over a dozen years now. We trust him with our daughters' best decisions for seizure control and medicine management as well as procedures as needed.

Dr Doherty has helped me get me seizures under control and Iam so much happier for it.

They have all been good. It took quite awhile to get the medications and dosages of medications necessary to eliminate me from having seizures. He is never rushed when meeting with my wife and I and communicates with my regular doctor as needed.

I feel most comfortable with Dr. Doherty. He is thorough and always explains, in layman's terms, making the information very understandable. He has that "bedside" manner you always hope for in a doctor!

We communicate often thru my chart. Always prompt answers, much attention given to what we observe at home and our opinion counts in this team. Dr's knowledge and experience guides all care but his ability to sort out things that can be contributing factors of well being are incredible. This office, this care- this is the reason we don't move to a warmer place where cost of living is less. We couldn't replace the excellent care anywhere else.

I'm not sure how Swedish Medical Center does it, but every single person that we have had contact with was exceptional. I'm an RN at a different hospital and wish that our staff could provide the level of care and responsiveness at every level as Swedish Medical Center.. I am thoroughly impressed.

Great experience. When asked about phone calls I was talking about contact through MyChart, which is the preferred way to interact our providers. It was always extremely efficient.

For a Zoom appointment, it went very well !

Dr. Doherty always takes the time needed and is aware of the whole person not just his specialty. The medicines and treatments have to benefit yhe whole person in order to be the right match. He listens carefully and addresses things we were accustomed to as normal' over time and yet they really may not be. He makes a difference in the well being of the patient and the patient's family.

Dr Doherty is very responsive and residing in Shelton, being able to communicate through MyChart is a very helpful resource.
