Dr. Bonm realized during my appointment that he had never noticed my history of a genetic mutation SDHB. He then admitted to me that he overlooked that information 2 years ago when we first met and apologized and said to me that he was embarrassed. He then spent a good deal of time with me asking questions and offering to send referrals for a geneticist, dermatologist and urologist, based on some of my concerns. He seemed very concerned about the mutation and had an urgency to get me to other specialists, saying that he will prioritize escalating appointments if needed. I appreciated his concern and was I also very alarmed and disappointed that he never thoroughly read my chart until he was in this appointment with me.

Good: Truly believe Dr cares about my condition and my experience. Bad: Dr has made inadequate effort to communicate with my other Drs treating me for related medical issues

Dr. Bonm and everyone in the neuro-oncology department has been absolutely wonderful over the years. I would recommend this provider.
