Dana Aitkhozhin

I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula whose work is informed by my own diverse experiences as a mother. Over the years I have navigated three very different births: a premature delivery at 34 weeks, a C-section, and a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). During my first two births I was alone and without support. While my husband was by my side for my third birth, I realized that I still deeply missed a specific kind of female energy. I needed someone who could intuitively feel and understand my needs during the process.
These experiences eventually led me to the path of supporting other families. I know that birth can feel lonely and overwhelming without a dedicated guide who truly understands what you are going through. My goal is to provide a calm and steady presence along with the physical and emotional support needed for a centered experience. In my practice I also incorporate aromatherapy and essential oils to help create a peaceful and supportive environment.
