Sadly I feel like my provider is stressed out by my many questions and curiosity about my healthcare. In fact, my provider told me I was anxious and I think it's because she doesn't like that I have many questions and that I am thorough about my healthcare concerns. I wish that my asking questions to get clarity wasn't a problem for her and that she welcomed my questions. I feel like I have to manage her anxiety at my appts on top of my own. At the same time, she is sometimes kind and caring, and is certainly very knowledgeable so I will probably stay with her and continue asking questions even though It makes her, and by extension, me, very uncomfortable.

Dr. Pohlman was thorough, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

I've been going to Dr. Pohlmann for many years and I always find her to be inquisitive, and eager to provide a solution to any Issue.

My primary care provider is very knowledge and shares her knowledge willingly with me. With a long time-relationship (since about 2007), I benefit from how well she knows me as a patient. In other words, we get a lot done at an appointment. I have been struggling with some cognitive skills becoming less than they used to be and my anxiety making it harder for me to be concise, but Dr. Pohlmann hangs in there with me, which I appreciate very much.

I value Dr. Pohlmanns expertise and I have always valued her point of view and knowledge, This time, however, I felt shamed and condescended to when I inquired about weight loss/ pre diabetes treatment options. She talked over me often and made a lot of assumptions about me. She reluctantly offered solutions she thought I wanted to hear because she had to get to her next appt.I rarely go to the Dr,but I am as lost in my decisions as when I went in to see her.
