Dr. Sargent gave a thorough examination. I had self diagnosed possible cause of pain was shingles without the rash. I Requested test but was denied. He felt shingles without rash was rare. Due to recent ct showing swollen lymph nodes in thorasic cavity, his diagnosis was nodes were causing referenced pain. I was disappointed with refusal of request for shingles test but understood & accepted his reasons.

On the day of my appointment with Dr. Sargent the computer system went down and he was unable to access my charts. I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to Dr. Sargent on the following.As the system was down Dr. Sargent heartily said to me "well this gives us an opportunity to sit and talk about your concerns that you have today". This was a refreshing and genuine expression which made me feel welcome and that Dr. Sargent was engaged with what I was saying to him.The 2nd item is that he had reviewed my charts earlier that morning (5 am!) and was familiar with my medical history. This was very beneficial as we discussed my concerns I brought that day.
