My PCP was on vacation and due to the necessity of stopping my GLP-1 to have a cholecystectomy and then having complications, my BG was erratically high, surgeon highly recommended seeing my PCP for a Bridge medication until I can resume GLP-1. Dr. He is who I was referred to by my PCP's team and were able to get me scheduled very quickly. Dr. He was extremely helpful and we were able to develop a plan using long acting insulin to bring my BG under control. This solved one of the issues I was experiencing and provided some stress relief so my body can continue to heal.
