About Ruo Han X. Zhang
Sellenna is a nurse practitioner with an experience managing chronically critically ill patients with a special interest in otolaryngology. Her experience in ENT has much overlap with her high-volume, high-acuity patients due to their airway needs which she enjoyed partaking in due to her extensive experience managing complex airway needs and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Through this work, she developed a particular appreciation for the role of otolaryngology in helping patients breathe, communicate, swallow, and maintain their quality of life. She is a provider who enjoys procedures and produces her best work for the health of her patients. Sellenna enjoys the procedural aspects of medicine and brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to patient care. She values taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and work together to develop a plan that fits their individual needs. Her experience caring for critically ill patients has also taught her the importance of careful assessment, recognizing subtle changes in a patient’s condition, and knowing when to involve other members of the care team. She is excited to bring her experience in complex care, her enthusiasm for procedures, and her commitment to patient-centered care to the field of otolaryngology.
