This was my 1st visit with Dr. Johnston, who was recommended by your Issaquah ER after I visited there for what turned out to be a hernia. Dr. Jphnston spent quite a bit of time with me, listening to my concerns regarding an operation at my age. He put me at ease, partly by telling me he would not put me completely out during the operation. I feel completely at ease with Dr. Johnston.

Dr. Schultz and his team respond in a timely manner for any questions I have. Dr. Johnston explained clearly what would be involved with the repair of my hernia.

The doctor has scheduled abdominal surgery for a cancerous stomach tumor was very thoughtful and explaining what the surgery procedure would entail and what I could expect.

Dr Johnston is a very knowledgeable, skilled physician. I trust him completely with my health. The only thing I'd change is to remember that everyone has different responses to surgery/pain & it is not a reflection of care received or a failing by a patient if they have ended up having more problems during the surgery or post-op period. Everyone is different & their experiences are their own, encompassing many factors. It's imperative to keep supportive & empathetic & treat everyone as an individual with individual needs that may vary between standard practice/usual experiences.
