Jason W. Harper, MD

Dr. Jason Harper is a board certified gastroenterologist and the Medical Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center at Swedish Gastroenterology. He specializes in the comprehensive care of patients living with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and other complex conditions.

Dr. Harper’s passion for IBD care is both professional and personal, shaped by his own family’s experiences with these conditions. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to managing digestive diseases—collaborating closely with colleagues across specialties to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Harper completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and specialized training in dietary management of IBD at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that combine medical therapy with evidence-based lifestyle strategies, including nutrition, stress management, and overall wellness.
