Dr Zia appeared very knowledgeable and listened very carefully. She spent the full time with me, but we were a little rushed at the end as far as explaining some details of the tests she ordered. I was able to get the questions answered easily via mychart. I have a lot of health issues related to her specialty so this could be why we got pressed for time. Also there was no medical asst that day which put more burden on her time.

Dr.Zia is by far the best provider I could possibly ask for. She Is very knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I would not be where I am today if it weren't for her. I always receive great care when I make my visits, the whole entire staff is friendly and respectful.

Over the last year and a half, I have been experiencing daily, debilitating symptoms that have at times threatened my life. I have spoken to over 10 different providers in that time, and not one of them has displayed a functional understanding of the symptoms I described, let alone had any useable diagnosis or treatment options - with the exception of the person who recognized my symptoms were beyond her expertise and referred me to Dr. Zia. It has been terrifying and demoralizing to be doubted, told to "wait and see", or met with utter confusion, especially while I lost 15% of my body weight in 3 months.Dr. Zia listened thoroughly to my account, diagnosed me, and explained the entire process of confirming and then treating this diagnosis, in less than an hour. I trust the answers she has given me, because they match exactly with the thorough research I had done while waiting to be taken seriously. I cannot express how meaningful it was to be treated well by Dr. Zia, except to contrast it with the dismal experiences I've had elsewhere.

Dr. Zia is a great listener and very knowledgeable and compassionate. She strikes a great balance of presenting information in a way that is simple, respectful, and mindful of suffering.

My providers are excellent and the support staff and schedulers are also fabulous, but it simply takes too long to get in to see any of my providers at Swedish. Even when they ask me to come in urgently, there aren't available appointments.

Dr was prepared for my appt. She read back to me her previous notes on my condition so she could get updates from me to see how I was doing. She noted my low blood pressure and did other tests to check it again.

She listens and responds in kind.

Dr Zia is excellent at explaining everything from all the test results of tests or xrays that I've recently had related to reflux and a hernia; as well as gastroparesis.

Dr Zia is one in a million! She is the best gastro doc I've ever seen! I've been to 5 gastro docs in 17 years and she is the most compassionate Dr I've seen!
