Dr. Karmali listens better and has more empathy than any provider I have ever had. She never makes me feel rushed. When she is late, I don't mind because I assume she is giving the same patient attentive care to others that she gives me. She is thoughtful about issues, listens well, and doesn't need to be reminded of things we have discussed at previous visits. I can't say enough positive things about the care she provide and the level of dedication she brings to her work. My only challenge is that availability is so limited if I have an urgent issue. Often I will seek care at a walk in clinic when she's not available.

I choose my health insurance carrier based on whether Dr. Karmali is in-network she is that important to my health and well being. She is smart and on top of things. She is an excellent listener and does not judge. She shows a human aspect and displays excellent bedside manner. She is both empathetic and sympathetic. It never feels like she is rushing you or talking over you. It feels more like a conversation between friends/peers. You can tell she respects her patients and their ideas, feelings, and opinions. Dr Karmali is the best physician I have had 20 years. I have never felt rushed, unheard, or just a number. Swedish needs to know what a wonderful doctor she is. She cares about her patients and is beyond thoughtful regarding my individual care and needs. I don't want to lose her as my primary care physician, so please make sure that she doesn't have too many patients. Three months to schedule an appointment online tells me, that Swedish isn't monitoring the doctor patient ratio well. Thankfully her team was able to get me a video appointment with her prior to the earliest online appointment at the end of July.
