Shaina M. G. Hakala, ARNP

Shaina Hakala is the best provider I have ever seen and I came to work for Swedish specifically because of the amazing care I have received as a patient over the last 15 years. Shaina embodies all that a patient dreams of when thinking about healthcare. She started the visit by saying "I read up on you and have some ideas for how I can help" because she READ my whole chart throughly before my visit, she came prepared to tackle a health issue I had been struggling to get resolved for a decade, she listened to new problems I shared and was going to brush off, and she addressed every single comment I made and more. She was humble enough to say when she needed to do more research about a condition I shared that is extremely rare instead if jumping in with an uninformed answer. Exam was incredibly thorough and I left feeling like I had just received VIP service. It is a week later and I can't stop talking about her. There is not a high enough score for Shaina and I hope other providers have the gift of learning from her. Shaina, thank you for making me feel seen and heard and for caring deeply enough to help me live a healthier life. You are a gift!

Regarding Provider Hakala, by far the best experience I have ever had with a medical provider. They listened and understood all of my concerns and the urgency to treat. I am so thankful to call ARNP Hakala my new primary care provider.

Have never had a doctor spend so much time with me before. Really felt cared for and like my current and future health outcomes were important to her. Did not feel rushed and felt like we could discuss anything and I had time to ask questions.

Caring and very helpful

I always have an amazing experience at any appointment I have. From check in to my provider to labcorp. My appointments have been nothing less than a pleasure. My provider listens to me more than I listen to myself sometimes and Is always proactive about addressing my concerns. It feels more like a think tank than a doctor's appointment. I recommend this location to all of my friends!

Good service and advice.

It's was the first time I've seen this provider after two months of moving to Seattle. She was very helpful, caring about my needs as well as my own situation in general.

Both my wife and I have been fortunate to have Shaina Hakala as our primary care provider, for well over a year. She is extremely comprehensive and very thorough in managing our healthcare needs. We are also very happy to be receiving care through Swedish.

Doctor listens and answers the questions I ask. I don't feel rushed at all.

It was all very good.The only issue was that I had to reach out to figure out what the results meant, and what I should do after.

I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to see my provider despite arriving 15 minutes before my appointment as I was directed to. My provider is great but this lack of respect for my time tells me this office isn't run particularly well.

Pleasant visit, helpful and fulfilled my requirements

I am overall really happy with my care and experience with my provider. My only issue is that she seems to always be behind. My guess is her case load is high and because she is very good and doesn't rush her patience this is the outcome. She is worth it.

She was wonderful, I felt very comfortable with her and she was very educational regarding current info and things I needed to know. I left feeling like a cared for patient not just another person on her schedule.

She is a good care provider.
