Dr. Mayeda is thorough, congenial, and answers my health questions. He does not rush through appointments. It's clear he cares about his patients.

Dr Mayaeda is a good physician and gives the patient the time needed during an examination. He listens and asks and puts together a reasonable treatment for any maladies or illness you might have.

Dr. Mayeda has been my primary physician since the mid 1980's, over 40 years. Dr. Mayeda provided excellent care and compassion for my healthcare needs as well as sent me to various medical specialist for my overall well being.

My doctor is extremely knowledgeable about clinical medicine and (happily for me) quite familiar with many of the details / nuances of my health, especially considering I don't come in often. I returned 4 years ago from seeing Naturopaths for a more clinical environment (with in house specialists) due to prior and current health issues. My doctor does strictly adhere to standards of care' that are expected of doctors. As much as I returned seeking that (and the specialists), there are health issues for which I desire to be treated for wellness (nutrition, prevention) versus treat the symptoms'. This has created conflicts between what my doctor is allowed to do by the medical profession versus how I ideally prefer to be treated. Still, I rate this appointment 9/10. I appreciate my doctor caring about me!

Dr. Mayeda always takes exceptional care of my needs. He asks detail questions and provides helpful suggestions and advice. I wish he understood my Lipedema more because he would be my hero when it comes to navigating my problem. I am in significant pain and unfortunately I don't have anyone but a surgeon (who is all about surgery and not management until I get surgery) to look to for help. I've been waiting on my surgery for over 6 months and now I've been told it will be almost another year. Very frustrating. I wish Dr. Mayeda was able to help me but understandably, most doctors know very little and leave it to those that do know more. 11% of woman have this so doctors should know more than they do. Overall, Dr. Mayeda has been a wonderful doctor for absolutely everything else.
