About Dane S. Nimako
Dr. Dane Nimako has been working in primary care in Seattle since completing his medical training in his hometown of Minneapolis, MN. His last name originates from Ghana, Africa. He approaches care with a coaching mindset, often exploring how things like nutrition, physical activity, sleep, relationships, and stress, all play a role in our health. And he would love to pull back the curtain to show you how the health care system works. He promises no miracle drugs or quick fixes, just a listening ear, a calculating mind, and a compassionate heart.

I feel like I'm doing all the work and just reporting it to him. No new options were given.

My provider was very helpful. Always willing to take the time with me.

I feel this specific provider did the best he could, but he doesn't know me, not my regular doctor and doesn't know the complexity of my health needs. He couldn't address issues managed by specialists at Swedish. That's not his fault. He tried. He was professional and kind. The Swedish specialists I need to see can't see me for months so seeing someone was better than seeing no one

Provider listens to my concerns, discusses options and provides good information on treatment thoughts as well as my specific concerns. Good time management despite the short time allotted for patient appointments.
