Robert F. Prongay, MD

Dr. Prongay came to medicine after 16 years in Electrical Engineering, software and telecommunications. After work with the Austrian health service, he fueled a nascent interest in medicine and attended medical school at the University of Colorado. He then completed a Family Medicine with Obstetrics residency at Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA. He thoroughly enjoys the broad spectrum of care Family Medicine provides and enjoys helping patients navigate their often-confusing conditions and treatments. He particularly enjoys Sports Medicine, Pediatric and Adolescent care, asthma and acute care for illness and injury. When not in clinic he enjoys jazz and ballet dance, teaching at the Family Medicine Residency, volunteering at free clinics and spending time with friends and family.
