As a practice philosophy: she believes in developing a relationship of trust and respect with her patients by active listening, by providing them with clear, transparent, evidence-based medical recommendations, tailored to their unique needs. She believes in empowering patients to take control of their health. It took me years to find a PCP to the point where I just stopped going to the doctor, until I found Flavia. I knew she was the one, per say. I absolutely love her. She is the sweetest, kindest, transparently honest, stern, loving, person or doctor. She does not sugar coat anything but also follows it up with showing that she cares about you. She treats you like a person and not a patient. She is literally like a second mother to me, to the point where I talk about her like that to friends and family.
