Excellent and attentive care at all times

All is well. San Won is a great MD. He understands. My situation is regarding flexibility and balance in old age. He prescribed a physical therapy course of treatments. My goal is to do walking, running, pentathlon (5 events of a decathlon), and golf. These treatments should help in that direction.

They are all efficient, professional & friendly.

My care provider has been exceptionally good in listening to my concerns, in my opinion.

Quickly diagnosed problem and provided an easily followed solution which I have been following with a good result.

Rather drive 20 miles thru rush hour freeway traffic to see Dr Won than any physician at the Northgate PacMed Clinic literally blocks away from my residence. Dr Won listens, has great affect and understands my health status and limitations. As a 4th generation minority person it's extremely refreshing to have an Asian health care provider who is cognizant of cultural traditions and commonalities. My previous two primary care providers at the Northgate Clinic were less than communicative and definitely lacked personality and the ability to connect with me.

Dr. Won walked into the exam room. I asked him if he had reviewed my records prior to this appt. He said = "No, very busy." He was promptly scolded! I gave him the high-level story and then he redeemed himself by excusing himself to a quiet room to review my records in more detail. He returned to the exam room with handwritten Notes in his Notepad = Good! Plus, he identified a potential root cause issue to my acute medical condition that NO OTHER doctor managed to do in the last SIX YEARS!!! Dr. Won proved he can roll up his shirt sleeves, dig into 6 years of records, apply himself and focus on a sensible medical solution! Thus, Dr. Won got the Gold Star as my new PCP.

The receptionists are incredibly supportive, always ready to assist when you arrive. They genuinely care about your wellbeing, taking the time to guide you and ask pertinent questions regarding your medical condition. When my provider comes in, he listens attentively to my concerns and focuses on what's best for me. I absolutely love this approach!
