One critical component to the patient achieving their health goals & a good outcome is a provider who is truly invested in the patient - not just as a diagnosis, but as a person. Feeling heard enables the patient to share all the information that the provider needs to diagnose and treat their issues. In order to feel heard, the provider must practice active listening. BRIANNA J. BAUBLITZ ARNP hit all of these targets, but she didn't stop there. She was friendly, caring and concerned, and she asked questions that clearly demonstrated that she was listening to *what I had said* - not just what she was expecting me to say. I truly felt like I had a partner in my healthcare journey, and that I was being given everything I needed to make informed choices based on my life and my health goals.
