Dr. Nelson is my absolute favorite provider. She takes the time to listen and address the medical concern. She is well informed and kind. Easy to talk to.

Dr. Marci Nelson is the best provider I've ever had. It is a shame that you cannot retain quality providers because of the need to maximize profit.

Marci Nelson has been my provider for more than 15 years. She has taken me thru many issues (breast cancer, hysterectomy, gall bladder issues) and has been very empathetic with my concerns. I really value her as a doctor. I'm very disappointed she is leaving Swedish.

Dr. Marci Nelson has been my provider for the past 20 years. I was sad to hear she will no longer be at Birth and Family. Providence needs to hold onto quality care providers who have built a rapport with their patients. Dr. Nelson has been a tremendous support and always gave me the time and energy needed to address my various health concerns, blood test results to successfully manage my health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson for the past 26 years, and I am truly saddened that she is leaving the practice. She has been an exceptional physician-knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Swedish/Providence is losing a remarkable doctor who has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many patients. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care she has provided over the years and wish her nothing but the very best in her next chapter. This is a GREAT loss for Swedish. I'm saddened that at this age I have to look for a doctor for my care.

I feel extremely lucky to have Dr Nelson for my doctor. She listens well and is thoughtful in her explanations. I always leave feeling heard and that she understood my concerns. I trust her clinical opinions and follow her advice. I appreciate that she gives me the time to explain my concerns and doesn't make the appointment feel rushed. I have never left an appointment and realized that I didn't get a chance to say something that needed to be said, as has happened with other doctors.

Dr. Nelson is a wonderful doctor who takes time to connect and listen, and give good medical information and options.

Our family was devastated to hear about Dr. Marci Nelson leaving your practice. She is the best doctor I have ever had. I brought every member of my family to see her as a their doctor. We all drive 30-40 minutes to your office to see her. We will be finding a doctor closer to our home once Dr. Nelson leaves. You are losing an amazing resource as are we.

She also sees my husband, my son, another son, my sister, my mother. I could not ask for better care than what is provided at her office and just threw her. Dr Nelson is a fantastic provider. She always listens carefully with respect and considers my thoughts and concerns. I have great trust in her. I had to schedule my appointment several months in advance. Dr's offices are always busy toward the end of the year, I was not bothered by it. I was in the room for more than 15 minutes but that is also not a problem because I know Dr Nelson will take the time she needs to care for me. If her previous appointment ran over time a little bit, I'm actually glad that Dr Nelson gave that person the care that he or she needed. A few extra minutes waiting in the room is preferable to feeling rushed in an appointment and forgetting to ask my questions. I hope Dr Nelson puts off retirement for as long as possible. I will keep coming to her.

I've been seeing doctor Nelson for over 20 years even now I move away from Edmonds area I still drive long distance to see her because I can't find another doctor as good as she is per my preference. The last visit was a bit longer than usual because my mother just passed away and I had so many questions and concerns doctor Nelson took the time to address them all. I felt so much better after the visit.

I have been taking the same meds for over 3 years. There has been no need for any interaction with the GP. We did discuss at length in most recent appointment

Dr. Marci Nelson and her team are truly INCREDIBLE! I have been a patient of hers for many years, which even included a 4-year relocation to Hawaii and back. My entire family sees her, and I have sung her praises since the first appointment I had with her over 20 years ago. I always feel that I am the only concern she has in the world, listens to every tiny detail of my issues, and shows so much empathy and caring that I truly feel like she is part of my family! My doctor has provided the best medical care possible. I've lost 63 pounds under her care. My diabetes is under control (5.0 A1C when checked at appointment), blood pressure is good too. All of this is because she has helped me work towards a healthier lifestyle and she genuinely cares about my success!
