Nikita Thomas, Doula

My Name is Nikita Thomas , I’m a Louisiana native , Army Vet and Mother . I moved to Washington due to the military and started my medical degree while serving, I was drawn to supporting my fellow single pregnant soldiers and soldiers wives who were deployed. Later down the road after graduating I decided nursing wasn’t for me and after speaking to someone about my role in supporting pregnant women during my service I was introduced to doulas. I pursued my certification and began supporting local moms. I then decided to further my studies and and enrolled into midwifery school. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I decided to take a break from that and focused on starting a pregnancy care business. I currently own Birthing Life Doula and Childbirth Education Services.
