Lauren Letsinger, Doula

Lauren’s postpartum care and support centers on rest, healing and nourishment. Her motto for parents during this time is: go slow, eat well and rest often. With a background working in social work settings and for a Seattle-based food company, she brings a warm, calming energy and a desire to help keep you well fed. She was inspired to specialize as a postpartum doula because the postpartum period is such a unique time in life for the parent, baby and all other members of the family unit as they adjust to life after pregnancy. She is drawn to this vulnerable time of transition and provides tailored guidance and reassurance. In addition to completing her training with Bastyr’s Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations in 2021, she became a Lactation Educator in 2024 following her passion for helping families with infant feeding and lactation. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and find ways to support each unique individual and family. Lauren enjoys redecorating her home with secondhand finds, starting craft projects and playing volleyball. Lauren currently works during the daytime with very limited overnight shifts.
