Christine Yates, Doula

Christine completed the International Doula Institute Birth and Postpartum training in 2017. She has since completed her Bereavement Training through the Swedish Doula Program (2018) and is a Pediatric Sleep Consultant through the Family Sleep Institute which she completed in 2019. Christine is passionate about continuing education and ensuring she stays informed on new techniques and tools that will support her clients. She has experience working with first-time parents, families that are birthing again, families that have gone through loss and those that have utilized IUI/IVF to conceive. She has also worked with clients who are single parents, single parents by choice, teen parents and parents expecting multiples. Christine is passionate about supporting families through the labor and delivery they are hoping to have. She previously worked for a corporate company in a managerial position. She utilizes these skills to build up her client's confidence, ensure they feel heard and supported so that their outcome is a positive one. Through advocacy, education and physical support Christine is there to coach and guide you through your birth and postpartum experience. Christine resides in Maple Valley, WA with her husband and four dogs. She is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada and travels home yearly to see family.
