As a full spectrum doula I plan to operate as an inclusive practice by welcoming everyone. I am a mother of one and have been a nanny in Seattle for four years prior to transitioning into birth work. I received my doula certification from Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings and plan to continue my education as a birth worker to advance my skills. I believe in offering unbiased advice and only educated information while, allowing the birthing person to navigate their own experience with my physical and emotional support. With the information and support I have provided to my clients my hope is that this will lead to informed decision making, while feeling confident during their pregnancy, labor & delivery, or postpartum journey. As a full spectrum doula I plan to advocate for my client when they are not able to resulting in easing anxiety and stress which can arise during pregnancy, labor & delivery, and the postpartum journey. I believe in offering continuous support to the birthing person ( or postpartum person) and family by making sure they feel respected, valued, heard, educated andThe ultimate goal of my doula philosophy is to set the client up to be comfortable without me. I want to help the client evolve and embrace their journey. I want to leave the client feeling confident navigating their journey with the information and skills I have taught them.
