Astrid is a bilingual Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes whole-person wellness. She is dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan in setting realistic, sustainable goals to manage chronic health conditions- such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal conditions- through evidence-based nutrition strategies. Astrid’s nutrition philosophy is rooted in a deep understanding of the social determinants of health, with a commitment to health equity through culturally responsive nutrition education that empowers individuals and communities to create meaningful and lasting change. Outside of work, Astrid enjoys being in nature and self-expression through creative outlets like knitting, watercolor, cooking, and gardening.
