About Nina Rashedi
Nina Rashedi, MD, FACC, FASE, is an American board certified cardiologist, medical director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Swedish Providence Hospitals in Seattle and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington school of medicine. She attended Chicago Medical School and completed her residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. She attended University of Washington for her general cardiology fellowship and attended the Mayo Clinic for echocardiography training.
Dr. Rashedi is currently involved in multiple national and international leadership committees including American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and is an active member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She continues to serve on numerous national leadership positions including chair of the American National Echocardiography E3 and Education committees. Her career highlight thus far has been participating on the very selective prestigious writing committee for the National Board of Echocardiography. She has been part of the prestigious Leadership Academy of the American Society of Echocardiography. She is a frequently invited to speak locally and nationally.
Dr. Rashedi has been immensely involved in research related to cardiovascular imaging and valvular heart disease. She has published multiple peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and review articles.

People in cardiac department very helpful and professional. My Dr is new to me. I liked her professionalism, knowledge and her warm personality.Recommendation for 4 west clinic/ultrasound unit. After procedure with a very skilled and warm tech, I utilized the bathroom. Suggestion: As an OTR/L , I I was highly surprised that your toilet was super low and not up to expected mobility standards for a hospital. Although I could manage, suggest replacing that seat w a taller accessible toilet seat particularly with your varied patient population. I would imagine that that the aging population and those with extra needs have a hard time managing getting on/off from toilet.

I went in for 6 month checkup with ecko. After we discussed that I mentioned a problem with my right leg which had a wound that wouldn't heal for 5 months. Her and her team got on the phone and hooked me up with my vascular Dr and got me in the next day, as I was driving home, 180 miles, soon. The whole team from 2 nurses and Amret all dropped what they were doing and took care of my needs. I was going to send a big THANK you on my chart but I read that its better to tell them in person as not to take up there time reading a message. Compared to every other cardiologist I've had, Dr Rashedi is very empathetic. She listens without cutting you off. I've been dealing with a fast heart rate for 2 years now and the last cardiologist I saw said "it's not like my heart is going to explode" and then also told me "I'm a normal healthy, menstruating female" when I have no signs/labs showing any sort of iron deficiency anemia etc. It is not normal for a 28 year old person at the proper body weight to have a heart rate in the 160s just trying to walk. I felt like my concerns were actually heard this time and she understood. Whether or not things get fixed, I appreciate this doctor taking the time to make my concerns feel like they are being taken seriously. She's great!
